Founded in 1985, Wood You Furniture is a small, locally owned furniture store specializing in quality, real wood furniture. We take pride in offering pieces that are built to last, adding warmth and character to your space.  We offer Finished,  Ready to Finish, and Custom Finished furniture for every room in your home.

In 2022, the store came under new ownership, bringing fresh energy and an updated product lineup.  Wood You is now operated by business partners, TJ and Faith, each with nearly 30 years of experience in the furniture industry. With a shared passion for quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service, we’ve dedicated our careers to helping customers find the perfect pieces to suit their homes. Our years of hands-on experience have allowed us to build a deep understanding of both design and function, ensuring that every item we offer meets our high standards. Our History

1985
Wood You Furniture has made its home in Gainesville, Florida since 1985. Tom, the original owner and operator, started out with Wood You as a manager in Orlando, Florida. Successfully managing the Orlando store, He quickly became Regional Manager of the seven Florida Stores. In 1985, while training the manager for the Gainesville Branch, Tom realized that he had found home, and purchased the store.  He operated the store from 1985 – 2012, when he decided it was time to retire and move out of Gainesville.

2012
New leadership took over at Wood You Furniture for the next decade.

2022
Wood You Furniture changed hands again with a new location with a fresh look and lots of new products.
